RE2PECT
Jeter goes down as one of a greatest baseball players too play in the MLB. He has has such an impact on young baseball players from all ages. He hasn't only inspired people as a player on the field, but also off the field. He has held many press conferences, and auto graph signings for fans. Jeter even inspired me to become a better baseball player and work at it every day so I can become a better player. I have watched jeter play basically my whole life and he has truly inspired me. Even though he is a Yankee and I am from Boston I still appreciate a good ball player when I see one. He was always a leader on and off the field, and with that being said I would like to follow by example.
He has had a bunch of amazing stats throughout his many years of playing with the Yankees. He announced his retirement and that the 2014 season would behis last. This brought a lot of sad faces to many people and I'm sure it did to him as well. But people have to remember that he is in his 40s and has playing baseball his entire life. I think he and everyone who is a fan of him should appreciate what he has done for himself, the league, and everyone who loves him. He can happily say he had a very successful life. He got to live his dream of playing professional baseball. And also be one of the greatest players to play the game.
Throughout his final season brought a lot of sadness too the league. Every game that he played in this season consisted of many standing ovasions. This weekend the Yankees will make their final trip too Boston. Everyone knows that the Yankees and soxs are rivals. But the great city of Boston knows a true hero when they see one, rivals or not. In my opinion I think jeter was the best short stop to play baseball. He inspired many kids too work harder to become better. I think his future after baseball will be very bright for him and everyone wishes him the best of luck!
